Buying a Firearm
Can I buy a firearm through your website?
Yes, all firearms advertised on our website are available for purchase. Select the firearm you wish to purchase. Either enter your payment details and proceed to checkout as normal or contact us to discuss payment of a deposit. If you see it on our website then it is available for purchase.
How do I pay for my gun?

Can I trade in my old gun?
In some cases we accept trade-ins, the firearm must be brought to our premises at Divers Firearms & Ammo, Gortmacall. Milford, Co. Donegal for inspection.
How do I apply for my licence?
Once payment has been dealt with we will forward the FCA1 Firearms Application form to you with a receipt of the purchase including all the details of the firearm. You then complete the form and apply to the Department of Justice through your local Garda station. All information can be found on the link below.

What if my licence has been refused?
In the case of a refusal your deposit will be refunded minus an admin fee of €20. Proof of refusal will be shown on p8 of the FCA1 application form and must be provided for the refund.
Will you post my new gun to me?
Firearms cannot be sent by post for legal reasons and must be collected in person with a valid firearms licence and photographic I.D. from Divers Firearms & Ammo, Gortmacall, Milford, Co. Donegal.
Buying Ammunition
How do I purchase ammunition from your website?
Select the ammunition you wish to purchase, you cannot purchase more that the amount stated on your firearms licence, add this to cart and proceed through checkout. Once the purchase has been completed, send your licence and photographic I.D. by email to info@diversfirearms.ie and we will proceed with your order. Please ensure billing address matches the address on your firearms licence.
How do I provide you with my licence details?
Both sides of your firearms licence needs to be sent by email to info@fiversfirearms.ie
How much can I buy?
As stated previously, you cannot purchase more than the quantity stated on your firearms licence. .
Payment and Delivery?
Delivery can only be sent to the address on your firearms licence, which must match your billing address and address on your photographic I.D.
What do you do with my licence details?
All personal details and photos are deleted once your order has been processed and dispatched.
Deliveries & Returns
What are your postage costs?
The standard delivery charge for Ireland is €8 and for the UK it is €15. Orders over €100 will be delivered free of charge.

Delivery time for the Republic of Ireland is 1-2 days, United Kingdom delivery times are 4-5 days. Delivery times may vary depending time of year i.e. Public Holidays. In these cases we will contact you by email.
How do I return an item?
All orders sent out will have a Return Form included, with full instructions on how to send your parcel back to us.
My parcel hasn’t arrived, what should I do?
If your order hasn’t arrived after 2 days (4-5 days for UK customers) then please get in touch.
